Ag Partners Celebrates First Custom Applicator Apprentice Graduate
Oct 27, 2025
A 2024 Nemaha Central High School graduate, Chase joined the Ag Partners team shortly after graduation and has now successfully completed the one-year program, which combines hands-on experience with classroom instruction.
The Custom Applicator Apprenticeship Program is designed for young professionals looking to enter the workforce or individuals seeking a career change. Participants are full-time employees from day one, earning while they learn. Over the course of the year, apprentices gain valuable certifications and on-the-job training culminating in a recognized certificate and credential through the Kansas Office of Registered Apprenticeship.
“This is a great program for any young professional unsure of a career path. Apprenticeship Programs are uniquely designed to offer structured training and hands-on experiences, making them an ideal pathway to launch a successful career in agriculture.” said Brenna Eilert, Talent Manager at Ag Partners. “We’re thrilled to see Chase grow and succeed in his role as a Custom Applicator and are proud to have him be a part of our Ag Partners team.”
Reflecting on his journey, Chase shared, “The Custom Applicator Apprenticeship gave me the chance to learn from experienced applicators while building real-world skills. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited for what’s ahead.”
Chase's achievement marks a milestone not just for Ag Partners but for rural workforce development across Kansas, which is why Kansas Farm Bureau developed the Rural Kansas Apprenticeship Program (RKAP),” said Kylee Stout, RKAP business development manager. “RKAP is proud to support employers like Ag Partners who invest in local talent and create meaningful career pathways for Kansans to build their futures right here at home. This is exactly the kind of success story we strive to cultivate through RKAP."
Ag Partners looks forward to continuing to grow their Apprenticeship Program and support the next generation of agricultural professionals. If you are interested in learning more about Ag Partners Apprenticeship Program, check out their website
